There are some schmaltzy moments to be sure, and the awkward finale, in which a double for Michael exits the stadium via a jet-pack, is oddly anti-climactic. Performing in a stadium setting in front of what appears to be 100,000 people, he dances and sings his way through 2 hours of non-stop rock, pop ballads, and high-energy R&B. No matter, though - people that only know his talent through his recordings and videos owe it to themselves to see just how unbelievable he was as a live performer, and as far as I know this is the only non-bootleg recording of his post- "Thriller" concert tours. In fact, the picture quality seems to indicate that it might even be an "official" dub of the original videotaped live show. Strangely bare-bones, it seems to be a hasty release of the HBO special from Fall 1992, during the "Dangerous Tour " there are no extras, no commentaries or other DVD extras at all. This is a fantastic document of the spectacle and power Michael Jackson's live shows demonstrated.
